  • What do all of you people actually know about the situation? Do you know that engineers who built this system of steel cables rated this to withstand a 60 ft. river? Actually, it was inspected just a few days ago and found safe. The river was only at 55 ft., but rising.

  • OK lets stop the insults already. It gets us nowhere. If you look at the problem logically, it would seem that the worst are areas where the population has grown too fast and without considering the available water in those locations.

  • Please get information on pollution. Calcium is NOT a pollutant! heavy metals and chemicals are pollutants. Your water may be bad, but not from calcium, it just makes the water hard (poor for your hair).

  • Are you people stupid or just America haters? The EPA is trying to say that carbon dioxide (a gas which every living animal breathes out) is a pollutant. Now who believes that? If that were the case, every human is harming the air we breath, so I suppose we all just die to protect the planet, right.

  • Sorry to advise you of this, but we are a representative REPUBLIC, not a Democracy. There is a big difference, LEARN IT. Many of the European countries are democracies, and that is why the people go off hog wild in the streets every other week.
